Head Spa Contraindications: For your safety and the best possible experience, please review the following contraindications before booking a Head Spa session. Please refrain from booking if you have:
•Sinus or ear infections – Steam and scalp massage may worsen symptoms.
•Head lice or nits – We cannot perform the service until the issue is fully resolved.
•Scalp bacterial or fungal infections –To prevent irritation or spread, please wait until the condition has cleared.
•Psoriasis - Potential sensitivity or irritation.
•Recent head injuries, stitches, or open wounds – Healing must be complete before receiving treatment.
•Hair extensions, dreadlocks, or high-maintenance styles – Due to water, oils, and massage techniques, we cannot guarantee your style will remain intact.
•Sensitive individuals - Treatments incorporate essential oils, so if you are someone who is prone to having allergic or sensitive reactions to different oils, we don't recommend booking.
•Pregnant - Due to not being able to recline, pressure from the belly down on your pelvis and the baby itself could lead to complications. Though we would love you to experience this service as well, please wait until after baby is born to indulge.
